Indoor Lighting

The Ultimate Freedom of Light Alton Ray’s Magnetic Systems represent the future of architectural lighting. By utilizing safe 48V low-voltage tracks, our magnetic solutions allow you to “click” light modules in and out effortlessly. Whether you need focused spotlights today or ambient linear light tomorrow, the system adapts to your changing needs without requiring an electrician.

Minimalist Design, Maximum Flexibility

Traditional lighting is static; Magnetic Lighting is dynamic. The core of our system is the Romina Series track rail, which can be installed in three ways:

  • Recessed (Trimless): The track is buried in the ceiling, leaving only a sleek black slot visible.

  • Surface Mounted: Ideal for concrete ceilings where cutting is not possible.

  • Pendant (Suspended): A stylish option for high ceilings or over dining tables.

 A Module for Every Mood

The beauty of the magnetic system lies in the variety of modules you can attach to the Romina track:

  • Linear Modules: For general, diffuse lighting (Flood light).

  • Spotlights: For accentuating artwork or specific objects (Focus light).

  • Fold/Grille Modules: Low-glare options for comfortable office or living room lighting.

  • Pendants: Hanging lights that snap into the track for a decorative touch.

Safety First (48V)

Unlike traditional 220V tracks, our Magnetic System operates on 48 Volts. This “Safety Extra Low Voltage” ensures that even if you touch the inside of the track while moving lights, there is zero risk of electric shock, making it safe for homes with children and low-ceiling spaces.

FAQ

Question: Can I move the lights while they are turned on?

Answer: Yes. The Magnetic System uses a safe 48V current. You can safely pull a module out and snap it back into a different position on the track without turning off the power or calling an electrician.

Question: Do I need a special driver (transformer)?

Answer: Yes. Since the system runs on 48V, you need an external or integrated LED Driver to convert your main power (220V) down to 48V. We offer drivers that fit neatly inside the track or can be hidden in the ceiling.

Question: How strong is the magnet? Will the lights fall?

Answer: The modules are held in place by powerful Neodymium magnets combined with a mechanical safety latch (in most models). They are extremely secure and will not fall, even in suspended installations.
