White Full Spectrum or Purple Grow Lights?

Purple (red + blue) lights are efficient but unpleasant to work under and make it hard to spot pests or nutrient problems. White full spectrum lights resemble sunlight, suit every growth stage and show plants in their true colour, so they can be used in homes, offices and shops. How Many Grow Lights Do I Need?

Germination and cuttings (100–200 µmol/m²/s): one I-Gol linear light per 30–40 cm wide shelf row.
Houseplants and leafy greens (200–400): two linear lights per metre of shelf, or one Golsar PS11 per ~0.5 m².
Flowering and fruiting (400+): Goldis PG11 with 90° optics at low mounting height, or several units for uniform coverage.

What is the best grow light for an apartment?

Can a normal LED bulb grow plants?
Regular lamps are designed for human vision and deliver little useful photon flux. Real growth needs a full spectrum grow light with a specified PPF.
